I was completely taken by Dead Poet's Society the first time I watched it.
I think the connection was so strong for me because of a combination of the characters being the same age as I was at the time, the fact that I was attending boarding school, and the reality that I was thinking about the some of the same issues discussed in the movie.
One quote that resonated with me then, and still does today, was the Robert Frost quote above from his poem “The Road Not Taken.” (Watch the scene from the movie)

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I think a lot about the “roads” that are present in my life and the choices I've made. I have no regrets but rather think in terms of what I can learn and how I can challenge myself.
